Jesse Villegas

Jesse Villegas is a graduate from the University of California, Merced where he received a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology.  

In his role as the Program Assistant, Jesse ensures that authorization of services are submitted to qualifying Health Insurances. This enables families to access Asthma Remediation Education and provides them with valuable tools to manage and alleviate their asthma.

Jesse was born and raised in the Central Valley and has seen how socioeconomic factors have impacted the Valley over the years. During his upbringing, he had the opportunity to participate in many programs aimed at assisting families in the Central Valley, such as CalFresh and Upward Bound. Armed with this knowledge, he hopes to provide the same support for families and communities that are underrepresented and underserved.
