CARES Community Health Worker II

Veronica is a graduate from California University of Fresno, where she received her bachelor’s in health science with an emphasis on Community Health. 

Veronica joined CCAC in August 2023 as a full-time community health worker. As a community health worker, she provides valuable tools to manage and alleviate asthma symptoms by educating CCAC CARES participants in Tulare and Kings County. 

Although born in Chico, Veronica was raised in Tulare County. Veronica is passionate about making a difference in someone’s life, that is what led her to be part of CCAC. Being able to help underserved communities is the most rewarding part of her job. During her spare time, Veronica likes to spend time with her daughters, take trips and try new places.
