Windy Hamilton
CARES Staff Assistant
Windy completed her education at Buchanan High School in Clovis and continued her studies at Fresno City Community College, focusing on English and Acting. She has previous experience working with a California state program, offering social services to clients with hearing and vision impairments. Windy is proficient in English, American Sign Language (ASL), and Signing Exact English (SEE) sign language. Her interests include parenting, acting, outdoor activities, spiritual practices, and providing assistance to others in various ways.
Windy joined the CCAC in 2015 and is now an administrative assistant for CCAC’s CARES Program, where she reviews and manages referrals, maintains confidential records, prepares reports and correspondence as needed, data entry, and ensures our CARES Clients receive prompt and courteous service.
Windy was born and raised in Fresno County. She understands the hardships caused by inequality in systems that are often biased against the deaf, hard of hearing, and others with disabilities. This experience has made her passionate about helping others to be aware of their rights, health, safety, and needs. Including the right to breathe clean air.
